LA Green Grounds: Back this Fall with an October Dig-In

Join us this Sunday, October 9th for a Dig-In in South Los Angeles! Expo LIne ventialtion testing

According to the LA Daily News, smoke may be seen coming from the Expo Line near USC Wednesday and Thursday but said the ventilation system is just being tested.



Testing started about 9 a.m. in the trench running from Jefferson Boulevard and Flower Street to the Expo Park/USC Station at Exposition Boulevard, Jose Ubaldo of Metro told the LA Daily news.

405 closure July 16-17 = free bus servce to much of LA

The 405 will be closed over Sepulveda for the partial demolition of the Mulholland Bridge July 16 and 17.

Basketball game and BET Awards bring fun, and traffic, to USC University Park

USC Transportation Services expects heavy traffic around the USC area beginning Saturday, June 25, 2011 through Sunday June 26, 2011.  Traffic congestion extending to the 110 and 10 freeways is expected due to events at the Galen Center and the Shrine Auditorium.

Fire Fighters v. Police Officers in Los Angeles: Charity Basketball Game at USC Saturday



The LAPD and LAFD will be holding a KIDS SAFETY FESTIVAL and CHARITY BASKETBALL GAME on Saturday, June 25th from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the USC Galen Center, 3400 S. Figueroa Street.  Over 3,000 kids and families are expected to participate. Admission is FREE.
