LA Green Grounds: Back this Fall with an October Dig-In

Join us this Sunday, October 9th for a Dig-In in South Los Angeles! Dig-Ins are best described as barn-raising where, rather than build a barn, we take out lawn and replace them with edible gardens.  After a few months off (due to the summer heat), we look forward to working with Dig-In hosts Yasmine and Alina at E. DOSE is an NIH funded clinical trial for people that have arm and hand weakness after a stroke.  We are testing varying doses of physical therapy using a program that involves challenging, intensive, and meaningful practice of functional tasks of your choice. Participation may involve 0, 15, 30, or 60 hours of focused physical therapy and assessment visits to the Bice Clinical Research center at the University of Southern California, Health Sciences Campus.You may qualify if:You had a stroke at…See More
