For the USC and Exposition Park neighborhoods in Los Angeles
The Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade is one of the most important community events in Los Angeles and celebrates one of the most important men in American history.
It also happens to be one of the most fun.
The Kingdom Day Parade starts at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Western Ave. turns left at Crenshaw and curls back up Leimert Boulevard.
It ends at Leimert Park Village where there will be food, dancing, celebrations, education, art, Djs, culture and gospel choirs.
I go every year and I hope to see some of my friends there - please say hello. Please take photos and videos and let people know how we celebrate King's legacy. Below is the first movie I made and I've highlighted the vision of several MLK parade goers in the Videos department.
