Most of the corners around Exposition Park and University Park aren't thought of as artistic or even notable interchanges, much less something we want to preserve for future generations.
Until you put their often stark and hidden beauty in the hands osf someone who knows where to look.
“These East/West and North/South corridors are on the verge of major change and have already a little known but well documented history," artist Robber Flick says. "It is my intent to create…

The magnet that is a championship trophy drew the gold and purple jerseys walking from all directions toward University Park and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park.
Call me a skeptic. I just didn't think it would be that bad. But I rode my bike from Leimert Park to work just in case.
250,00 are supposed to line the route and 95,000 will be squezzd into the Coliseum - which is already about 2/3 fulls - the the Lakers wood basketball court is in the middle…

On May 16 my peer ambassadors and I met incoming 9th graders. These students will becomming into the NaI program. What we did was get them in groups of nine students. Each of us would give our 5 minute presentation, then ask for questions or comments that they might have. What went pretty well was that the students were very attentive and participative. What we could have worked on was on the order we switched from groups. Some of us either didn't have enough time with the group or had way too…

I am with a group called the SoCalCAN Peer Ambassadors. We talk to other students on how to get to college. We had just done our first gig this past Saturday, and I think that it went really well. All of the groups paid attention and learned a lot on how to get to college. One of the students was able to name the A-G Requirements in order. One thing we could have improved on was being more organized. We were a little confused on which group to go to next. Also, the groups were all over the…
