On Sunday, December 3; between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., celebrating its 13^th year of catalyzing vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free streets, CicLAvia – South LA, presented by Metro, welcomes everyone of all ages and abilities to its 49^th car-free open streets event connecting Leimert Park and Historic South Central so participants can jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, play, and enjoy the 6-mile route. Always free, CicLAvia participants just show up anywhere along the route at any time to enjoy the open streets and to take the time to explore South LA.

CicLAvia – South LA will be both fun and engaging for all to enjoy. With five (5) Hubs filled with plenty of activities and programs along the route, Hubs are walking zones (mandatory bike dismounts) and meeting points along the route with the Leimert Park Hub located on Crenshaw Blvd just north of Vernon; King Estates Hub located on MLK Jr Blvd at St. Andrews Pl; Exposition Park Hub located on MLK Jr Blvd at Bill Robertson Lane; MLK Hub located on MLK Jr Blvd just east of Avalon; and Historic South Central Hub located on Central Ave south of Washington Blvd. Hubs offer family-friendly activities, restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, bike parking, and first aid. Free pedicab rides, sponsored by AARP, are available at each information booth.
