Also, a FREE event Saturday, August 20th  @ 1pm, at the Rose Garden in Expo Park.  Come see 24th STreet actor Tony Duran perform a piece written to pay tribute to the Tsunami victims in Japan, a piece that reflects the rebirth of our community with the coming of the new EXPO subway line.  The event is coordinated by LA Commons and will feature visual artists working with neighborhood families to distill their family stories into banner ideas for the Expo opening.  It’s a celebration of our community!
