I am with a group called the SoCalCAN Peer Ambassadors. We talk to other students on how to get to college. We had just done our first gig this past Saturday, and I think that it went really well. All of the groups paid attention and learned a lot on how to get to college. One of the students was able to name the A-G Requirements in order. One thing we could have improved on was being more organized. We were a little confused on which group to go to next. Also, the groups were all over the place. We thought that next time, we should arrange all the groups in a circle and rotate, that way there won't be a lot of confusion. In the beginning, we gathered all the students in one room and introduced ourselves and what each of us will be talking about. Then we split them up into nine groups and each peer ambassador took a group outside. We switched groups every time we finished talking to one group. Because of all the confusion, we couldn't get to all the groups, so at the end, we did a quick summary of all we talked about to everyone back in the room. As a whole, they remembered the four steps. Ms. Barrios was also happy with our job
