Thanks for the compliment. I have actually been home schooling Christian-based church youths for the past 2 years. We would setup a study place within their neighborhood for those 2 - 3 months and have them come for class once a week. We encourage the parents to allow their kids, even as young as 9 or 10, to participate in these media classes. Then it's just a matter of finding out how to make the classes fun for the kids.

For this particular class, we decided to go ahead and teach 3D and focused on the hands-on aspect. The kids were from True Family School, a Christian Church based home school. There were 7 students who participated. It turned out well, with 6 kids staying until the end. 5 of them decided to continue the next class, which focuses more on 3D hard-surface modeling. We hope to give these children a chance to find out what they really love to do as early as possible.

These are the same techniques that we will be taking with our mobile school to teach the curriculum in South L.A., East L.A. and Hollywood to students between the ages of 14 and 18.

Amazing what was accomplished in such a short time with such a complicated topic - what schools were the kids from?
