Trojan Neighbors

        TROJAN NEIGHBORS is a community initiative developed to foster a relationship between The University of Southern California and its community.  Activities are provided on a weekly basis to enrich the lives of the children within the University Park Community and its surrounding area. All activities are supervised and led by University of Southern California graduate students.

Program Goals

• To instill in our youth the drive to excel academically
• To provide tools that will sharpen and enhance academic success
• To provide extracurricular activity to youth within the University Park Community
• To teach cultural awareness and art
• To provide resources to youth within the program
• To teach responsible health choices through numerous workshops
• To produce well-rounded and positive citizens

Program Information

• Who is Invited: School-age children
• Meeting Times: Wednesdays 5:00pm-6:30pm
• Meeting Place: Weekly activities are held in University of Southern California graduate student housing (address provided upon enrollment).
• Weekly meetings comprise of homework time (including homework help from USC graduate students), a group activity (i.e. art project, cooking, team-building games, educational outings), and dinner.
