MALDEF and La Opinion formed a partnership to create awareness throughout Los Angeles and the five boroughs of New York City by placing 163,000 color inserts in two of America’s largest Spanish language daily newspapers, La Opinion and El Diario La Prensa. MALDEF Census 2010 informational insert will reach over 675,000 Latinos who make up the daily combined readership of both publications.“We all have a stake in an accurate and complete Census count and are proud to be associated with such respected organizations as MALDEF in this important campaign”, stated Monica Lozano, publisher, La Opinion.

Additional outreach includes 15,500 rack cards on ImpreMedia newspaper stands in Los Angeles and NYC.
