GoV. Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Sup. Ridley-Thomas light up South Los Angeles

Please confirm your attendance by 12noon tomorrow.

Dear Friend:

You are cordially invited to join Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and me at a special Tree Lighting ceremony in celebration of the hope the holiday season represents at the Martin Luther King Multi-service Ambulatory Care Center. The Tree Lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, December 18, 2009 at 12021 S. Wilmington Ave. in Los Angeles, CA 90059. Light refreshments will be served. This event takes on additional significance in light of our County’s partnership with the Sate under the governor’s leadership to restore in-patient health services at the Willowbrook site.

Please view the attached flier and share it widely amongst friends, family, and neighbors.

Please join us in sharing the spirit of peace and hope as we look forward to the promise of a new and prosperous year. To assist us in our planning, please confirm your participation with an RSVP at http://ridley-thomas.lacounty.gov/treelighting.

With hope,

MARK RIDLEY-THOMAS
