On April 7th, the USC Community-Based Learning Collaborative (CBLC) and the USC Institute of Global Health will present "Becoming 'Glocal' in 2010: Bringing Global Health Home." This half-day conference will feature panel discussions on global and local health programs and projects, informative poster displays and presentations by student & community health organizations, special guest speakers, and opportunities for group discussion and networking. Some of the main goals of the event include highlighting current programs to build awareness and encourage collaboration, providing resources for those who are interested in initiating or refining projects, and emphasizing the merging of solutions to global and local health issues.
