La Blindada Razon at the 24th Street Theatre

My wife and I really enjoyed the play! It was a real treat! Following subtitles and watching the play was a unique experience. My wife is fluent in Spanish, so she didn’t need the subtitles.

The play was made even more enjoyable because I am taking a class on teaching English Language Learners. Part of the class is intended to help teachers to empathize with the experience of these students  in English only classrooms.  Although I had the benefit of subtitles, I can better understand how some students can get lost.

I recommend the play for everyone and especially for teachers who work with English Language Learners and for public servants who work with Spanish speaking populations. As you follow along with the action, you will get a glimpse of what many people in our communities experience on a daily basis.
