Fox 11 Good Day LA Morning Show Personality Mar Yvette and KJLH evening radio personality Kevin Nash co-host the third annual Peace, Love, and Family Bike Ride and Community Fair to promote healthy lifestyle choices and active living on Saturday, July 6 at Manchester Square. This free, fun-filled, family event includes a 10-mile bike ride, healthy food, live music, health screenings, games, and bike and gear giveaways. The fair provides an opportunity for Los Angeles residents to come together and learn how healthy living can be easy and fun through bike riding and simple lifestyle changes. 

The 10-mile bike ride is open to all ages and abilities, with a range of shorter rides to fit every skill level. Participants can join the ride at three different locations along the 10-mile route. Registration is $1.00 for non-bike club members and begins at 8:30 a.m. at all departure locations. Parking is limited, so the use of public transportation is encouraged. Please note, for this ride there will not be complete street closures, but safety is ensured through the use of streets closures on a rolling basis. Organizers ask that participants register the morning of the ride and join from one of three predetermined departure points listed below.

+       Depart 10:30 a.m. -- Exposition Blvd. and Vermont Ave. (Accessible by Metro Expo Line)

+       Depart 10:45 a.m. -- Gage Ave. and Vermont Ave. (Street parking, biking to location highly encouraged)

+       Depart 11:30 a.m. -- Manchester Blvd. and Vermont Ave. -- location of the community fair -- returning to this location at the end of the bike ride.  (Parking is available in designated lots)

WHEN:            

Saturday, July 6, 2013, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; live performances on the main stage begin at 1:30 p.m.
