For the USC and Exposition Park neighborhoods in Los Angeles
From a 2005 USC News story: University Gateway is a $135-million construction project that will feature 421 apartments and 80,000-square-feet of retail.

View Larger Map The project is the largest private real estate development on the Figueroa Corridor.
The building will house up to 1,656 students in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments.
Parking is available. USC also will provide a free tram service from the complex to the University Park campus. Rents are expected to start at $2,800 a month.
The first floor will have a USC Bookstore and a fitness center. A restaurant and several other smaller retail establishments will occupy the remaining 10,000 square feet.
The USC Bookstore, which will include a coffee shop, will house the most comprehensive list of trade and technical titles in the region.
