The Raymond Avenue Neighborhood Garden will get a new name and be assured of a long life. Begun 5 years ago by local resident and volunteer Master Gardener Julie Burleigh, 24 families now grow food and enjoy interacting with nature in a space that blighted the neighborhood for years. In partnership with the L.A. Neighborhood Land Trust (LANLT), the garden’s future has been secured with a donation to acquire the property. Please join Julie, the gardeners and the LANLT as we dedicate the Erica J. Glazer Raymond Avenue Garden.

10am – 1pm: Street Fair
--food provided by local restaurant
--tours of the garden
--children’s activities (face painting, crafts)
--gardening information
--attendees from the blocks surrounding the garden

11pm: Formal presentation and dedication
