Expo Boulevard closed on Monday around USC

Due to the re-blacktopping of Exposition Boulevard, we can expect Exposition Boulevard from Figueroa west to Vermont to be closed on Monday, Nov. 21, between 7 am and 1 pm.

Fresh and Easy comes to USC University Park!

A Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market grocery store is slated to open around either December or January in University Gateway, according to the Daily Trojan.

Expo Line running tests from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days a week

Expo Line train movement (from Metro):



§         From 6:00 AM to 12 Midnight



§         7 days a week



§         Between 23rd St. (at Flower St.) and La Cienega Blvd. (at Jefferson Blvd.)





REMEMBER: Trains MAY be on the tracks anytime during this period. Please note that train movement is dynamic and subject to change.

Street Closures Sunday for the Prostate Cancer 5K

This Sunday, November 6th, USC will host the 2nd Annual L.A. Prostate Cancer 5K race which will begin at 8:30 a.m.  This event will result in the following street closures from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.:

 

ON CAMPUS

34th Street from McClintock Avenue east to Figueroa Street (Lots V and M enter on Jefferson Boulevard only)

Watt Way from Downey Way south to Exposition Boulevard (Gate 1 closed during the aforementioned time)

LAUSD seeks community members to volunteer as school reviewers

LAUSD is looking for participants to evaluate school plans for the education reform process. The review process will commence on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, and conclude on Saturday, December 31, 2011.

Participate in the L.A. Prostate Cancer 5K  on Sunday,

 

November 6. There is still time.



Last year, over $80,000 was raised which helped bring new technology and fund ongoing prostate cancer research at USC.
