Basketball game and BET Awards bring fun, and traffic, to USC University Park

USC Transportation Services expects heavy traffic around the USC area beginning Saturday, June 25, 2011 through Sunday June 26, 2011.  Traffic congestion extending to the 110 and 10 freeways is expected due to events at the Galen Center and the Shrine Auditorium.

Fire Fighters v. Police Officers in Los Angeles: Charity Basketball Game at USC Saturday



The LAPD and LAFD will be holding a KIDS SAFETY FESTIVAL and CHARITY BASKETBALL GAME on Saturday, June 25th from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the USC Galen Center, 3400 S. Figueroa Street.  Over 3,000 kids and families are expected to participate. Admission is FREE.

Pride and Prejudice comes to South LA through USC NAI



YOU ARE INVITED!

The high school students of the USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative are producing Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" on the stage.

 

About 50 students from Manual Arts High School and Foshay Learning Center worked on the project - not for a grade but for the love of theater and literature.

African American Firefighter Museum in Los Angeles
