TRANCE is a poetry/music suite for Peter J. Harris’ Inspiration House PoetryChoir, a capella singers and a horn section blending virtuoso soloing, ecstatic human speech and dynamic silence into seamless VoiceMusic that explores and plays with time and its pulsations, revels in the shifts and slippages between emotional states, and features new poetry by Harris (American Book Award winner), and original music by Ed Barguiarena (Cesar’s Last Fast).
TRANCE is a part of the evenings offerings of the Department of Cultural Affairs’ C.O.L.A. Individual Artist Fellowships, original works honoring the spectrum of Los Angeles’ most creative artists.
