Apollo Soul’s members are alumni of UCLA’s undergrad ethnomusicology (J)azz program. The instrumental group pulls from a variety of influences ranging from rock and (J)azz to avant- garden and experimental electronic music. LA legends and stage regulars Roberto Miranda, Cornel Fauler, Justo Almario, and Clayton Cameron are but a few of the masters that the group has sought guidance from in the past. It is the spirit of this lineage that Apollo Soul hopes to tap into for an exciting Sunday matinee performance. All proceeds from the door will go to benefiting the World Stage @shmellington
