For the USC and Exposition Park neighborhoods in Los Angeles
The 7th annual 24th St. Theatre Dia de los Muertos is tonight Nov 2nd and features altar-making, music, dance, food, and community!
Latin Grammy nominees Trio Ellas, (the hottest Mariachis in town), singer Andrea Zuniga, Aztec Dance Group Huitzilopochtli, Brazeros Dance Company, Sol de Fuego Folkloric Dance Company, and Tierra Blanca Dance Company will entertain.
Bring a picture of a loved one who has passed or any other offerings for the altar!
Festivities begin with our event partners at Estrella Park (1956 Estrella Ave.) at 5pm with an outdoor play about worker rights performed by IDEPSCA. Then at 5:30 the Aztec Dance Group Huitzilopochtli will lead a procession from Estrella Park to 24th STreet Theatre on Hoover.
Performances will begin at 6:30pm on 24th STreet Theatre’s outdoor stage.
