What are the sounds unique to University Park?

Every neighborhood has a soundscape, a mélange of musical and sometimes nonmusical noises all its own. Whether it's music, birds, car horns or ice cream trucks, KPCC's Take Two morning show wants to feature those sounds (good and bad) that provide a soundtrack to your every day. 

We have created a short set of questions and a way to record and upload audio.

As a long time resident I must say the sound that I grew up with the most is 10 fwy never ending buzzing of cars. 24 hours a day 7 days a week going on 30 years...

DOSE is an NIH funded clinical trial for people that have arm and hand weakness after a stroke.  We are testing varying doses of physical therapy using a program that involves challenging, intensive, and meaningful practice of functional tasks of your choice. Participation may involve 0, 15, 30, or 60 hours of focused physical therapy and assessment visits to the Bice Clinical Research center at the University of Southern California, Health Sciences Campus.You may qualify if:You had a stroke at…See More
