USC Supplier Diversity & Local Vendor Program achieves record 13% spend in April 2010.

The University Of Southern California's commitment to socially responsible spend continues to show through purchases from small local and diverse suppliers. In April 2010, during our current fiscal year, a record 13% spend was achieved in
purchases from minority, women, veteran or small local businesses. Thank you , USC staff, faculty and students and our USC UPC Purchasing Teams for your
clear dedication, commitment and inclusion of diversity.

As we each prepare for the new fiscal year, July 1, 2010, I appreciate your continued support as you consider how and where to spend. It is with each
of your needs in mind that I prequalify and prepare the many excellent diverse
& small local community suppliers to meet your every need. Supplier
Diversity Services provides ongoing awareness orientations to assist you in
selecting suppliers and to better understand the USC procurement policies
and procedures. Please visit the department website for more information or to
schedule a meeting with your department or staff.
