For the USC and Exposition Park neighborhoods in Los Angeles
WHAT: The University of Southern California Community Health Involvement Project (CHIP) is holding its third free annual health fair for families surrounding the USC area. This event will offer: free health screenings, free food, fun and games, live entertainment and information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Offered will be free screenings for blood pressure, glucose, vision and dental.
VISUALS:
• Hundreds of families from the area coming to the fair
• Members of USC CHIP giving out flyers and pamphlets
• Trained members of USC CHIP giving free blood pressure, glucose, vision and dental screenings.
• Olympic themed booths and games being played
• A giant bounce house filled with kids having fun
• People collecting tickets from the booths and getting free food
• Members of USC CHIP speaking English, Korean, and Spanish
• Smiles on the families and members faces

BACKGROUND: USC CHIP is a growing student-based organization concerned about the extremely limited access many basic health care services and information. USC CHIP actively involves themselves with the surrounding Los Angeles community by providing free screenings and necessary health information in order to lead a nutritious life.
