 (speakin' over Ornette aprox. 42:40) "We started this 1st set (after RISE theme @ 12:09 AM) w/ a really interesting new release from Dexter Gordon, composition, A La Modal. This 1 wuz recorded in Paris in 1977. Interestly on this piece, on soprano sax, a horn that he wuz rarely heard on record & i think even live. Nice 1!"
