A 311 swarm: Celebrate the community & clean up Jefferson Blvd. this Saturday



Let’s celebrate our community, meet some neighbors and clean up Jefferson Boulevard this Saturday.

The neighborhood council for that area, NANDC, is focusing on the stretch from Vermont to Western and has enlisted local partners to help transform this main boulevard.

Where to vote in University Park neighborhoods?

Attention University Park and Expo Park neighborhood voters, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office has an online tool that tells you your polling place. Just put in your address number and street name and your voting location pops up. Mine is the MLK Park rec center on Western and King. Hope to see you there.

Safety Fair Saturday at LATT

Free services to families and demonstrations from over 20 local organizations and agencies ranging from road, train, bike, and fire safety to the Child I.D. Program.

There will also be child safety seat inspections courtesy of the California Highway Patrol. Child safety seat inspections require an appointment. To schedule an appointment, call (213) 620-4646.
