Profile Information

A little about me:
The USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI) is a six-year, comprehensive, educational outreach program that prepares low-income, minority students living in the neighborhoods surrounding the University of Southern California for success in college. At NAI’s core is the Pre-College Enrichment Academy which provides accelerated curriculum in math and language arts to students drawn from three local LAUSD, District 7 schools. Each of these South Los Angeles schools is designated Title One with up to 90% of its student population qualifying for the free federal school lunch program. Most NAI students are the first in their family to graduate from high school, and, almost exclusively, they are the first in their family to attend college.
