Nearly 6,000 people lined up yesterday to get a wristband for free dental and medical treatment at the Remote Area Medical, a massive health clinic in Expo Park this week, according to the Los Angeles Times' Molly Hennessy-Fiske.
Services include vision exams, mammograms and diabetes screening from a team of more than 300 volunteer doctors, dentists as well as USC students, doctors and professors seeing patients from 6 a.m. to 6
Everything is free. The clinic runs from April 27 to May 3. People must have a wristband to be admitted to the clinic.
